There is only one word for it: celebratory. The night of my Colorado book launch was absolutely one big celebration. Of course I'm thrilled that I finished the book, that the long path of research, writing, editing, design, and production has come to a conclusion and that the proverbial "fat lady" sang that night. Every climber celebrates at the summit. Completing and publishing this, my first book, is my Everest. All the other books to come will be but joyful iterations of this first feat. I look forward to my Kilimanjaro , my Machu Picchu, my K2, but none of them will be my first epic adventure in writing.
